In 2011, the company opened a state-of-the-art shipyard facility, Bordelon Marine ShipBuilders, in Houma, Louisiana to build our new and versatile deepwater DP2 PSV and MPSV series, the Stingray Class. Our facility offers a complete suite of safe and cost-effective mobilization and fabrication services for projects related to the owned, operated, and chartered vessels of the Bordelon Marine fleet.
Over 40 years, the Bordelon Family built a solid reputation as a vessel owner and operator. The company was founded by Terry and Gerry Bordelon in 1979 under the name “Gulf Operations Inc.” and was later renamed “Bordelon Marine”.
