From the Drawing Board to the Sea: The Stingray Vessels
Bordelon Marine Shipbuilder’s was established in Houma, Louisiana 2011. This shipyard was designed specifically to build the new Stingray260 DP2 vessel series for its parent company, Bordelon Marine. The facility sits on 2.5 acres and has roughly 45,000 sq. ft. of covered space for construction and storage.

Onshore Facilities & Amenities
The yard is a fully enclosed facility with 24hr security. We can safely stage equipment and supplies for any upcoming mobilization or project, as well as provide a secure parking area for offshore crews.
Having the yard located in Houma, LA gives it convenient access to New Orleans and Houston during storms or normal operations. The facility is part of a sheltered water way and is at a high elevation and less susceptible to flooding.

Topside Mobilization
Bordelon Marine Shipbuilders can also support topside mobilization projects. The facility has a 275ton track crane, 250ton transporter, and various mobile cranes, overhead cranes, and lifts. Our experienced staff can engineer, plan and facilitate your next project turn-key.
