Our Shipyard

OUR SHIPYARD

From the Drawing Board to the Sea:
The Stingray Vessels

Bordelon Marine Shipbuilder established itself in Houma, Louisiana, in 2011, along with a shipyard built for the construction of the new Stingray260 DP2 vessel series for its parent company, Bordelon Marine. The facility sits on 2.5 acres and has roughly 45,000 sq. ft. of covered space for construction and storage.

Onshore Facilities & Amenities

Our shipyard location in Houma, LA, allows for convenient access to New Orleans and Houston during storms or regular operations. It is a part of a sheltered waterway at a high elevation; we are less susceptible to flooding. We can safely stage equipment and supplies for any upcoming mobilization or project. Furthermore, the shipyard is a fully enclosed area with 24hr security providing a secure parking area for offshore crews.
